Data-collection project
A Python/Beautiful Soup scraper collects constituency results from Japanese Wikipedia for elections between 1996 and 2017. It extracts party vote shares by prefecture, district, and year, then exports JSON and CSV. Table-layout assumptions need checking when source pages change.
